Shandong Zibo Jinling iron mine is affiliated to Shandong Iron and Steel Group. Tieshan mine is one of their important mine areas. There are 8 Water pump rooms including more than 30 pumps at underground middles of Tieshan mine and two places among them was technically transformed in the late.
Operation personnel are moved from the underground to the surface operation room, after drainage system automation transformation in 2012. Personnel number decreased by 66% and the maintenance cost was reduced by 30% (data in 2014).
