The main mineral in Zijin Mountain iron ore are magnetite, hematite and a small amount of pyrite.
Gangue minerals are plagioclase, quartz, diopside. The main ore minerals selected for iron minerals, comprehensive recovery of associated useful elements and harmful elements were found, (CaO+MgO) / (SiO2+Al2O3) =0.088, acidic ore. Test conditions for the system test and test process based on the Process Mineralogy Study of samples, test results show that: the Zijin Mountain shallow ore magnetite ore by TFe23.76%, (3~0mm) - wet pre concentration - stage grinding low intensity magnetic separation of coarse concentrate regrinding - sieve sieve - regrinding technology the final product, can be obtained with yield of 23.77%, iron grade of 63.52%, total iron recovery rate was 63.65%, the iron concentrate of magnetic iron recovery of 98.65%.
