Luanping Tietai Mining is affiliated with Chengde Tianbao Mining Group Co LTD., the project is located in Xiaoying Township，Luanping Country，Chengde City ，Hebei Province of China, and the concentrating mill processes 12 million tons of iron ore one year. The project was started in July of 2010 and was put into production in September of 2012.The design adopts the technological process of “three stage crushing with single closed circuit stage, dry preselection, stage grind and stage separation and tailings concentration”.
The coarse and medium crushing system of the concentrating mill are surrounding the mining area , they adopt the form of mountain tunnel ,convey the ore to the main mill area by nearly 2 km long-distance belt conveyor, effectively solve the technological problem of the high cost of motor transport and the difficult road ,etc. Grinding classification uses the linear sieve classification, which can effectively improve the efficiency of classification, improve grinding efficiency. Tailings concentration system uses "cyclone and high-efficiency thickener" joint operation, effectively reduces the thickener load, and technical difficulties are solved such as domestic thickener covers an area of large.
To alleviate the ore transport and the differences of each section operating system, the factory sets up a large intermediate buffer ore heap and a fine ore heap to ensure the continuity of production. The mill is equipped with a large number of efficient large-scale equipments including PXZ1417 gyratory crusher, Sandvik CH870, Metso HP800, Φ4000 x 6000 ball mill, Φ4000×6700 ball mill and Livre HRT60 efficient thickener to ensure the high operation rate, and reduces the production cost.
At present the project has become a demonstration enterprises of concentrating mill construction and efficient management in Chengde. In August of 2014, "The 2014 national low grade ore efficient exploitation and utilization of technical seminars" hosted by MMAC(Metallurgical Mines' Association of China) was held in Chengde City, Hebei Province ,the meeting chose TieTai Concentrating Mill as the only visit and communication spot.
