XiaDian gold ore is a gold mining and dressing corporation which subordinates directly to the ZhaoJin Mining Industry Ltd. It was constructed in 1981 and its designed production capacity was about 100t/d. After several times’ extension, there exist three diggings at present which respectively are NO.1, NO.7 and Beijiang. The scale of production has achieved 2000t/d. Our institute takes the designing work of the extension project for 4000t/d mining and dressing in XiaDian, which mainly includes 538 open shafts on earth and main shafts and auxiliary shafts in deep and the dressing workshop’s extension and other relevant auxiliary facilities.
According to the existence of mine and practicing outcomes for mining methods, the methods should be optimized. The mainly used no-pillar sublevel caving will be altered to overhead horizontal cut-and fill supplemented by no-pillar sublevel caving. The height of middle piece will be increased to 80m in overhead horizontal cut-and fill and it’ll also be equipped with advanced excavating and shipping equipment from Sandvik and Atlas which will enhance the mining efficiency and production capacity greatly.
The dressing plant will add a 2000t/d grinding process that uses close-circuit grinding technology. And it will choose traditional flotation machines as flotation technology considering previous experiences. The flotation process comprises with priority selecting flotation, roughly selecting at first, scavenging then and carefully selecting in the end. During this process, middlings carefully selected and concentrates roughly selected will be sent back for grinding again. Two new energy-saving dehydration technologies-thick and ceramic filtering machines-are going to be used in dehydration process for concentrates.
As the key enterprise for ZhaoJin Mining Industry Ltd., Xia Dian gold ore always treats constructing garden-style mine as its goal and focuses on the harmonious balance between economic benefits and ecosystem protection. It was evaluated as the Environment-Protection Model Enterprise in Shandong Province in 2002 and the National Environmental Mining Enterprise in 2011.
